Wearable art by Katerina Shukshina.
No, this isn’t a new accessories brand.
It’s the work of artist Katerina Shukshina, who creates fleeting pieces of art from plants, flowers, vegetables, herbs and berries, turning them into familiar things: handbags, summer shoes, hair accessories tucked into messy hair and, of course, manicures.

And really, who didn’t stick tiny wild geranium petals onto their nails as a child, pretending to have a proper manicure? Some things never really leave us.

Her work feels playful, a little surreal and beautifully temporary, somewhere between fashion, nature and childhood imagination.

Ordinary ingredients suddenly become something else entirely: jewellery, accessories, objects you almost wish you could keep.

Definitely worth a scroll through Katerina’s Instagram. Just be careful: it’s very easy to lose three hours there.
